Speaking & Media

Dr. Selina Mangassarian, Psy.D., CBIS, is a forensic neuropsychologist who explains how the brain shapes behavior, decisions, and accountability, in the courtroom and in everyday life. She speaks to legal, medical, corporate, academic, and general audiences, translating complex neuroscience into clear, practical insight.

Her perspective comes from years of evaluating people at the intersection of brain science and the law. That includes defendants whose competency is in question, professionals whose fitness for duty is being assessed, and survivors of brain injury rebuilding their lives. She is a paneled neuropsychological and forensic psychological expert for the Superior Courts of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, has contributed to research on traumatic brain injury and performance validity, and is bilingual in English and Armenian.
